This is the most significant wine growing area of Austria. Typical wine terraces rise high above the Danube. Rieslings and Grüne Veltliner from this terroir are world-famous and are served in the best restaurants worldwide. Join us in visiting the people that have made this region famous in the world of viniculture and fine cuisine.

Looking for sweet and red wines?

Then you should visit one of the world’s oldest wine regions– Burgenland. Burgenland is located on the ‘sunny side’ of Austria and one third of its area consists of unique nature reserves. Colourful meadows, Lake Neusiedl (which straddles the Hungarian border) and gorgeous steppe landscape and wildlife are characteristic of this wine region.

Picnic in vineyards, bike ride to Lake Neusiedl or dine in one of exclusive gourmet restaurants – enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city and discover the very special culinary identity and the world-famous wines of this region.
